The Folsom Volunteer Fire Department is made up of dedicated community members who give their time, training, and energy to keep Folsom safe. We are not a municipal department — we are your neighbors, your coworkers, and your friends, who train on weekdays and respond on nights and weekends.
Our team holds certifications in emergency medical response, fire suppression, technical rescue, and hazardous materials awareness. We maintain our own apparatus and facilities, and we rely on community support to keep our doors open and our equipment ready.
Whether you want to volunteer your time, donate equipment, or simply spread the word, every contribution strengthens the safety net for everyone in Folsom.
No prior experience required. We provide all training and certification.
Medical supplies, training gear, and facility improvements are always needed.
Share our info with neighbors so everyone knows who to call in an emergency.
Businesses and individuals can sponsor apparatus, vehicles, or training programs.
Our volunteers are standing by. Call us anytime.
